Hello
My name is mary Ann and right now I am from Tigard Oregon. I joined this board a few day's ago when I ran across it looking through a ton of quilting blogs. I go to the senior center here in Tigard where I joined a quilting group. These lady's mainly quilt tops for other ladies. But found them to be a great group to be with. The volenteer teaches quilting and she is teaching me to quilt. She is very helpful. So I ran across the newsletter here and decided to subscribe to it and have been reading on this forum for a few days now. I think I am excited to learn about quilting and this board sounds just as fun as my friends at the senior center quilt group is. I have lot of questions and want to make friends here and learn all I can about quilting. I won't be post ing much on here until after July 14th as I am flying to Colorado to see my other 2 girls and a great grand child I have not seen at all who is 4 years old. I lost my husband just a little over a year ago so this is a must needed vist with my children. Untill then I will be a lurker until I get home. gramy moore |

Welcome to the board! We lived in Tigard for 5 years. All my kids were born there, and then we started moving around the country, because of my DH's job. I still have fond memories of that part of the country. My family still lives in Oregon, and we get back there about once a year.
