Hello, Fellow Quilters, I need help with cutting fabric (arthritis) on a budget and wanted to know if the "Go" is only for cutting applique pieces and if it's user friendly? Thanks and God Bless! :-)

Each different die for the Go cuts different things. One cuts HST 3" fininshed. One cuts Squares. I have a parrallelagram and isosceles, I have a 4 7/8" triangle and 2" and 6" squares...some are made with just the right shapes for a particular quilt. Some are strip cutters. It can get expensive if you need a lot of different size triangles, or squares or whatever pattern piece you use a lot of.

Hello and Welcome from Louisiana!

You may want to check out the Baby-Go, or the alto system, and there is another that is like the go but accepts all the dies.

(is Go Tigers! appropriate?)

No it is not just for applique piecing. I just cut many strips this morning of 2 1/2 inch strips for a king size triple Irish chain for a customer. Goes fast and is extremely accurate.

Hi and welcome from TN! The quilt in my avatar was cut entirely on the GO. I avoid rotary cutting at all cost. Not for physical health reasons, but for my mental health and my husband's financial health.
