I have been looking for a good quilting board to ask my questions on but had a hard time finding one that moved much. I am thrilled to have found this board!
I have been sewing since home ec and got my first machine for graduation. I have made many quilts in my day but most have been one piece fronts or I have hand stitched panels for baby gifts. I just recently started piecing to where things actually fit together. I have a love of fabric like no other!!!
My new step-MIL (is that what you call her?) has a quilting machine and quilts for others. I made 3 big quilts for Christmas and during Thanksgiving she taught me how to use it and i got to quilt all 3. Now that is addicting!!!!!!!! So here I am to learn from you all!! Thanks, Tylynn from Utah

Hi Tylynn, come on in! The ladies and men here are some pretty nice people and extremely helpful. Come back often, 'cause we all talk ALOT! Check out all the topics in the forum....next thing ya know you've spent 6 hours getting lost amongst the warm and funny crowd. You've completed more quilts than I have, lady, sure would love to see some pictures uploaded so I/we can admire them too :-)

For all you Utah board members, have you ever been to Quilt, Etc. in Sandy Utah. It's better than fantastic. It's about 8700 south, state street. My hubby took me there for a surprise for my birthday and said "get whatever you want!" wow.

I drooled on lots of fabric, so used that excuse to buy it! Then I decided to be extra nice for a thanx and bought him a new playstation 4 game. So we're both entertained and happy!
