Been enjoying this message board since February this year and can't tell you how much I truly appreciate it! Thought it was about time to officially join and express how great all of you are. Grew up in northern Minnesota (where quilts are NEEDED!), and transferred to southeast Wisconsin 11 years ago, but now retired here in WI with DH, 3 horses, a rescued dog of 13 years of age, 2 indoor cats, and the farm cats across the road that come to our barn. Been sewing clothes of all sorts since youth, also do embroidery, and as of January of this year, took up quilting (mom up in heaven is probably thinking, Finally!). Love the board for its diversity of people, countries, and quilts!!!

For mollymct in MS, I love the photo of your pekingese! I've had a lifelong love of these dogs, and just last week lost our Libby who was 12 years old. She was our 4th peke since our marriage in 1968. Your photo brought a big smile to my face!
