I have been quilting for about 25 yrs but steady quilting for the last 6yrs. I love this site and love looking at all the beautiful quilts others have done. I love going to classes and love to longarm it is so relaxing for me. Of course when I go into my quilting room my husband has to come down and pull me out because he says I don't know when to quit. Do any of you all have that problem.
I live in a very small town in NM and the closest fabric store is either on line or 2 hrs away so you know how large my stass is. I could open a store. Have wonderful quilting buddies that come over and we all sew and talk about our next quilt. Its a good life when you have friends that quilt and when you meet other quilters. I haven't found a quilter yet that doesnt like to share and just become friends. I am working right now in Prescott AZ but when I get home I will post some of my quilts. Happy New to all . |

Welcome fellow New Mexico quilter. I am on the eastern part of the state sometimes the closest I am to a quilt shop is 1 1/2 hrs south, 104 miles east on 40, two hours to the north and 3 hrs west well no Edgewood well no Santa Rosa has a pretty neat variety store haven't been there in a while but they sometimes have nice fabric. So you are like the rest of us quilters stash, stash, stash. Enjoy the board and welcome again.

If I had a longarm machine, that would be grounds for divorce, I think! Guess I'll have to wait until after the funeral, lol! |
