Hi everyone,I'm from WA in Australia, just wanted to comment on Overlockers. They are fantastic machines and you can do a lot more on them than just overlock, you can sew on beads and sequins, you can make and attach piping, you can blind hem (works best on fleece though) you can gather, use fishing line to create fluted edges. These are just a few examples ask your dealer about all the feet available. The twin needle effect that was mentioned is done with a coverstitch machine. You can buy these machine seperatly which in my opinion you should. If your overlocking does this stitch there will be quite a bit of messing about changing over from one mode to the other. This is of course only my opinion, I have a coverstitch machine and an overlocker. (I used to sell sewing machines for a living)
Cheers and I hope this info helps. Yvonne |
