When I was married at 19, my grandmother gave my husband and I a quilt. When I unwrapped it, in my head I thought "oh. a blanket" lol
Now I know better! After my grammy passed away, we moved into the old homestead, and I found treasure after treasure, quilts she had made and some my great-grandmother had made. It was then I decided to learn. The arrival of 2 more children hampered the time I had to devote to quilting (not to mention the fact that it takes up my whole living room), but the spark has rekindled and I'm ready to get back at it! |
Welcome, glad to hear you are quilting! have fun!
