Glad To Be Here
Greetings, I have visited this site many times but never joined because I didn't have time. I just finished school (yeah!!) and now feel like I have some 'me' time. I have 2 teenage sons, a wonderful husband, and work full-time.
I've been quilting about 20 years but never have enough time for it. :) I love scrappy and applique. Lately I've been sending my quilts out to be quilting. That was the one step I seemed to be unable to complete. Now I can actually use my quilts. The four of us drag them all over the house to use.
Currently, I have a Turning Twenty cut out and am almost finished piecing it. I made this as a stashbuster-but it didn't work, I still have too much fabric. LOL I hope to get that finished and mailed out this week while I'm off work.
I live in Virginia and my favorite seasons here are autumn and winter.
