I am a retired Army officer and I have made two quilts since leaving the service. (Texas lonestar and crazy quilt the, fan motif with lots of embroidery). I have no training in quilting so I had some trouble with piecing but I did learn alot from the trial and error method. I really enjoy the hand quilting and will try a whole cloth quilt in an americana theme maybe with an eagle and shield in the center. I am glad to have found this site with all the good info available from all the quilters on this site. I have a lot to learn!! HAPPY QUILTING, Glenn |
