Good Morning from North Carolina!
Today I finally joined! I've been reading all of y'all's posts for some time now! Finally got around to joining! I've been quilting for about 30 years. I only hand quilt. I was hoping to find some NC ladies who hand quilt! I'm a teacher full-time, so, needless to say, I don't get to sit down and quilt as much as I'd like to! Welcome from Ontario, Canada. Love the quilt in your Avatar. It looks like a weiner dog in the shape of a backwords S. I wonder if you could do it in a simple letter shape for another child's name?Hmmmmmmm. I think maybe C, S, L, and Z would work well.

Welcome from another NC member. I am in the NW part of the state, piedmont, too. It seems that hand quilting is a somewhat dieing art, at least as far as quilt shows are concerned. Just don't see many hand quilted pieces there anymore. Seems that we are all in such a rush to get a quilt done so we can work on the next one.

Tartan, I must admit, I didn't make my Avatar quilt, but I love it ! Also, where are you in Ontario? I grew up in Buffalo and spent lots of time in Toronto! I love Canada and when I was younger I actually wanted to move to Toronto!
