I just signed up yesterday. I am a wildlife rehabilitater from Orange Park, FL. I have been rescuing and releasing squirrels, raccoons, opossums, and other injured or orphaned wildlife for over 30 years. In my "off" time (LOL) I do crafts of many types to raise money for food and supplies for my babies. I have 2 passions other than my animals-sewing and cooking.
As a child living with my grandparents, I remember the quilting frame hung from the ceiling over the dining room table, when we were little our job was to help push the needles back up through the quilt to the top side if needed. I spent a lot of time under many quilts!
I look forward to joining this forum and learning. I hope you don't mind if I share some of my babies now, and some of my quilting efforts later.:)

My sister (who lives in Indiana) takes in animals. She had a 3 legged raccoon that she kept for over a year. She would stack logs up so he would learn to climb in case he got lost and needed to get to shelter! lol She also raises sugar-gliders and has a 3 legged and blind in one eye pommerian and a ferrat that was abused. Thanks for sharing!
