Good morning
I just joined the Quilting Board and am looking forward to "talking" with other quilters. I live in Northern Colorado and I am retired. I spend most of my winters quilting and my summers gardening. I hope to learn new techniques and get ideas about selling my quilts. For some reason people would rather go to Walmart and buy a quilt for $25.00 rather than pay what it really costs for a quality quilt. Go figure. :) Anyway I look forward to being an active participant on this board. I have been quilting since 1989.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. Some people have luck selling on Etsy but getting a decent price for quilts is pretty hard.

not much help from this end. I live in California, and have made some grand children quilts in the past and one king-size quilt top.
These days what I mosly do is make nice cloth boy and girl dolls to give to kids with devestating medical issues. 146 made to date. It honors me to do this for the little ones. Most go to kids with cancer, but there are exceptions. Welcome to the board. There are such wonderful people here, learners, teachers....all giving and caring people. You won't be sorry you came on-board. Vickey S. |
