Welcome to the boards, Grandma'sgirl, glad to have you here. I'm a little south of you in the Seattle area.
I really envy those of you who come from a family tradition of quilting, I had to get it started in my family :) |
Welcome from Michigan!:)

A warm welcome from Southern Indiana!

Welcome.
I, too, stumbled across this site while looking for something else. I have learned a lot from the other members here. |
Iceblossom, how wonderful of you to start the tradition in your family! I have seen some of your work! And wow, you have inspired me. While I absolutely love the heritage that was given to me, it also comes with the weight of responsibility. I know it needs to be passed on. The stories, patterns of the familiar quilts, and some of the techniques. When you are the first one, you get to create your own! I certainly will get to that as well, but I think there are good things either way. And Iceblossom, you are making such an inspiring start!

Hello, Lori B! Another from the mitten state! How I miss it! I have so enjoyed reading some of your posts! Thanks so much for the “Hello.” Hope that you are able to continue with your lovely work!

Thank you for the greeting, Granky! I love your log cabin avatar! It looks so much like my grandmother ‘s wool log cabin quilt, just smaller. Southern Indiana is lovely! Hope to run into you, again!

Hello, Bearisgray. I am not surprised that others stumbled across this site, as there is a wealth of information, techniques, and pleasant exchanges on this board. I am certain that I, too, will learn a great deal. Thanks for the greeting and hope to stumble into you again!
