Welcome from Long island, NY!
I will be in Bankok for 1 day on 12/15/2011- cruising on the South China Sea. Will definitely try to get to that market! Do they sell silk? |
Sorry - February 5th, 2-11 - hit the wrong keys!

I do belong to a quilt group here with an international flavor...who we are changes as many families are here for only a few years. There are only two of us left who were students of Doris, who repatriated back to Minnesota in 2002. We started our charity quilt project while Doris was here in '98. Our group has donated over 800 quilts to deserving Thai children. You can read about it here: http://www.quiltsofaloha.org/charity-quilting.html If anyone is coming through Bangkok, you're welcome to drop in on our group. Aloha, Linda |
