Hi everyone ... or maybe now I should say 'Howdy y'all'! I moved here from Denver, CO (Monument ultimately) last year when my father became ill. I've not found many quilt shops nearby and so getting onto some quilting forums has been very nice in order to stay in touch with others of similar quirks. :thumbup: I am a longarm quilter and have been away from my LA for 1.5 years during the care of my father, his estate, and a home remodel. Am in the process of putting together my quilting/sewing space and it's good to hear and see others' ideas of making the most use of your spaces. Thanks!

Hi Marty, I've visited both shops. I've sewn at the Sewing Center for Courageous Kids and have joined the Golden Threads UFO meetings every 1st Saturday of the month. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I hear Padukah is a great place to visit. Making plans to go to the Quilt Museum in 2 weeks. What a treat that will be!
