Hi there I've been quilting for only a couple of years, but have been sewing since I was 13. My husband and I are empty-nesters. Daughter 30 and son 27 now married and out. We have two doxies that keep us on our toes. Hub is retired. I am still working full time but think more often about retiring. No grandchildren yet.

Welcome from Ohio. Is corningware made there? I love my corningware. Enjoy the board. My DH is also retired and I am still working full time, and hoping for the possibility to retire.

Welcome from Japan! Just between you and me, I am originally from Apalachin! I used to love reaching Corning when I was on my way home by car from Chicago. It is a lovely town and I went on a tour of the glassworks when I was in elementary school.

Welcome - your quilt is beautiful. I retired 12/2010 in the Adirondacks and now spend +/- six months in South Carolina in a camper WITH my sewing machine. Retiring was the best thing ever!!
