I have been monitoring this site for some time and have just gotten brave enough to sign up! I am a relatively new quilter and have learned so much just reading the comments and suggestions. I love all the photos! Learning to quilt was on my "bucket list" of things I would do after I retired. I found a wonderful quilt shop about an hour from my home. I go every Tuesday morning to quilt with some wonderful women. We listen to Allen Jackson sing hymns while we sew and solve all the world's problems.

Welcome!! I'll be in east Tennessee in a couple of weeks. My father lives in Limestone (near Greenville). Love it there! There is a family reunion this weekend at the Davy Crockett State Park. It was there last year, too. Unfortunately, school doesn't get out this year until June 11 so I can't make it.

What quilt shop to you go to to quilt?

QuiltingGrannie, I quilt at Little Blessings Quilt Shop in Crossville, TN. Wonderful quilt shop with gorgeous fabrics and fun classes. We really have a great time. If you are heading to Nashville on I40W sometime, get off at Exit 317 and turn right. The shop is only a third of a mile off the interstate.
