WOOHOO - I found it: http://myquiltheaven.com/index.php

Should we talk about planning a trip on this thread or start a new thread?
Cattyqwltr - tell us more about the shop? Is there a classroom that we could have a meet in for show-and-tell and chit chat? Would a week-end work for getting together there?

I started a thread called New Quilt Shop In Michigan. I'll put more info there. You might want to start a new thread to discuss a road trip. Thanks for your interest.

Hello and Welcome to the board from North Carolina.

Welcome from Lowell, MA. Congratulations to your sister on her quilt shop - may it be very successful and congratulations to you on starting a new job. Of course your feline friends love your sewing room, lots of soft fabric to nap on, being close to mommy when she is quilting, at least that describes my TJ. Again, welcome to QB, I know you will love it.

Hi! Welcome from the W. WA state coast.

I'm new too and if you take the time to look around ALL the links you'll find this place to be more fun then Disneyland (and I've ONLY scratched the surface!). Love it!

October-will be visiting grandsons living in Holland, MI. Any quilt shops in area? Boys will be in school, so my days will be looking for quilt shops.

bjowcc214 09-19-2011 01:46 PM

Hi, I'm in Royal Oak, which is quite a distance from Holland. Sorry I'm not any help.

bjowcc214 09-19-2011 01:50 PM

Oh, I just remembered. If you don't mind a drive to Lansing, there is a terrific shop called Country Stitches. There are 2 really good ones in Techumseh, also. One is called The Quilt Patch. I'll be checking it out myself on a shop hop in Oct. Happy shopping. Guess I had to jump start my thinker!!

memereof8 09-19-2011 03:51 PM

bjowcc214 thank you for your input. Will look at our map. Thanks again. Pauline
