Granny do you belong to the Valley Quilt Guild ?? I sold my property to Helena chemical its out on Hwy 20 near Sutter and moved back up to northern Cal. My girls graduated from Sutter high. My ex-son in law is a police offecer in Marysville. We have a daughter who lives in Yuba City. We will be down there next weekend for my oldest grandson's 11th birthday. Small world huh?

Happy Stitchin' Linda B.

Hi neighbor! What is the Valley Quilt Guild? Where would I get information about that? I am sorry I got two people mixed up with each other. I will try to remember Sun Bonnet Sue is by Linda. Juliann made the puppies quilt. The styles of the two quilts are so similar I thought my eyes were going. LOL. I too have a 4 year old grandchild. My redheaded Riley. I am so proud of him he won't be 5 until the end of Aug. and is already reading at a late first grade level. I love it when I am at the bottom of the stairs and I hear him upstairs reading some book out loud to himself. I have never made him a quilt but I will. He really likes the quilts other people have made for him. I just started the quilt thing this last year. My therapy group has been making quilts for long term foster care children. We hear they really love getting them. We never meet the kids. Confidentiality you know.

It is in the low 60s here and cloudy. This is what I call comfortable weather. We may get a sun break later in the day. It rarely ever gets below 30 here. We did get a light snow here two weeks ago but it melted as it hit the ground. First time in over 10 years we got snow. I hate the summers here when it will get over 100. Once in awhile we hit 110. I love air conditioning!!!
