No, she has very little spare time due to a high pressure job and wants to eventually sew clothes. But even tho she doesn't realize it yet, those potholders and placemats she making are quilting! I'll get her converted yet!
Got really tickled at her today when she told me, all those years ago when I lived at home, we could have been sewing together! I had to remind her that back then, I couldn't have paid her to learn to sew! She is 37 now.
