Hi everyone! My name is Liz, and I'm hailing from Canada. I'm 32, I am a designer, estimator and project manager for a small millwork company. I love to quilt, but don't get around to it nearly enough!! We just recently changed our guest room/den into what my husband calls "The Activity Room" with room for quilting! Finally I don't have to clean up my projects when they're part-way through, and I hope that having a space will give me the kick in the pants to work on my quilts.

I do all my machine piecing, and my wonderful mother does all the machine quilting for me. It's a great setup, since I hate the tediousness of the quilting part!

I'm looking forward to meeting you all, and learning and sharing everything we love about quilting!

You're so lucky to have your Mother with you to work together. I didn't want to quilt until it was too late to work with my MIL. she was a real quilter, and we do have several of her quilts.
