Hello fellow quilters..I recently moved to West Tennessee and have had no luck in finding women to quilt with. There are no quilt shops within 50 miles, no guilds> Maybe I phrased that wrong, I found quilting bee type of groups but no one to piece with and share ideas. So I thought I would join the Quilters Mesage Board so I can interact with quilters and get my quiltig fix here.

So Billy, where in West Tennessee do you shop for fabric. We onlky have WalMart here in Savannah and they are taking out the fabric section in April. What next?

Lori your in middle TN believe it or not, just on the ragged edge of it but you are in middle TN. The River is the division point between west and middle TN.

I usually go to Hancock Fabrics and JoAnns in both Jackson and Memphis depending on where I feel like going. But when I move to my property I will be and hour and a half to the nearest fabric store, Nashville being the closest.

I found a quilt store in Jackson and a guild but they meet at night and its a long drive alone at night. I just might have to strike out on my own and go there. We went to Florence, Alabama today and I got some fabric at Hobby Lobby to make Microwave Potato Sacks.
