Hi, I am Margie, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, dog lover and retired RN. I love to sew and quilt, but not good at either. I sew mostly for charity projects and some gifts...I figure if they dont have to pay for /or need it...they wont critique it :)

I have admired all the beautiful things you all make and wish I could sew as well.

I saw the Christmas stockings for soldiers on Sept 6 and read all the postings for the info. I got my sewing GUILD involved and we are mailing the stockings (about 700 or more final count not in), candy and money this week. Thank you so much for the ideas.

Hope to make some new friends. :)
