heey here is another newbie!

hi, I'm nickie, I'm new to vintage sewing machines i now have two which still trying to find model name so i can get manual and oil and clean them up properly. I so far have only restored the cabinet on one of them. i also am interested in sewing and quilting although I need a working machine so fingers crossed. I'm happy to be here and hopefully can learn a few things or even help others. :)

Waving hello from Maryland! I love the vintage machines, but have no real desire to own one and need to be downsizing anyway. Good luck with yours and happy sewing.

There is absolutely nothing more satisfying than a well-oiled, restored, quiet, running, vintage sewing machine. I have many of them and just love them. If you are interested in a class, I have taken the tear down, rebuild class from Sew Purty (Ray Elkins), he is a wonderful teacher and I highly recommend him. Totally worth it to tear down a machine and get it running again. So wonderful. Glad to have you here!
