I spend 6 to 7 months of the year traveling around the US in a 40 ft. motorhome complete with sewing center. I am able to complete quilt tops, but large quilts get quilted once I'm back home in s. FL. I display smaller quilts and wallhangings in the front window of our RV and it's a great way to meet quilters around the country!

Hi from sweet Bedford VA in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains! We are a lively little town with antique stores, several wonderful restaurants, a 20 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Peaks of Otter, and the famous D-Day Memorial.

You need to stop here over the weekend of November 5 & 6 for the sew-in retreat weekend planned for the Military Barracks Quilts Project. Everything is donated: the gorgeous room, food, drinks, and door prizes! We will assemble to completion the many quilt tops sent from members of this board for our soldiers in Farah, Afghanistan. It's gonna be fun and we'd love for you to be there!

Warm Welcome.

Don't you love it that while the husband drives, you can get a lot of binding sewn on. Going on a Road Trip this weekend to Kansas City and Columbia, Missouri so will take a few items that need hand stitching.
