My name is Suzanne and I am new to this website. . . Well, I've been looking at the pics and keep thinking that they are way better than I can do.

I have been quilting for a couple years, and can't seem to find enough time to sew. I decided to start teaching myself to quilt when I was pregnant with my first daughter. Right when you seem to lose all extra time. :) Oh, well.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi. I hope you all have a productive day.

Well, it is sunny here in MN, and finally not snowing. :) Thank heavens!

I am very happy to have found this site. I just wish I would have found it when I first was trying to teach myself to sew.

I am glad to find so many wonderful people.

Suzanne,
Welcome aboard!! I'm new here, too and a relatively new quilter. I have very little time as well and lose sleep to quilt as a busy mom. Everyone seems very nice here & willing to help the newbies with advice.

I am in Brainerd, MN. It is a relatively small town and we are surrounded by lakes and trees. Yup, it's beautiful here.

I try to take inspiration from the area, and I am sure that I will do more so in the future.

I have two girls, Cordelia is 4 and Alexandra is 2, so they keep me busy and on the run a lot!

I am also running an in home child care, so I really keep busy!!

I am glad to meet you all and hope to gain a lot of knowledge from all the experience around.

Have a great day!
