Hello all

Hello all just joined and a new member. I have ,for now only one question......can a speed regulator be added to any machine. I would like on on a machine that doesn't have one......

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. It might be better to post the make and model you want to add a stitch regulator to so someone may be familiar with that machine and give you an answer.

Hello and Welcome!

Well that's the thing...I want to do the quilt as you go types of quilts. Too I want to be able to attach a batten and a backing after it's finished. It's not so much "quilting" that I want to do but just be able to attach the backing. I am not sure how I am to do this yet but I thought there might be a speed regulator that is sorta generic and adaptable to a variety of machines....

I am looking at a Nolting 18" machine but it doesn't have stich regulator and I need one because of the way the flaps have to be attached.....

I have a Nolting with a stitch regulator. It's called Equalizer by Nolting. I also have the original QBot on it which I use to quilt with pantographs. Have you contacted Nolting?

yes, sent them an email yesterday. They wanted pics of the machine with serial number and they would tell me everything I would be able to do with the machine.....
