Hi! I'm new to quilting but have been sewing and doing embroidery for a long time. Just purchased a babylock quilters choice pro and have some questions that I hope someone can help me with. Since I bought it second hand I really don't have a dealer to fall back on.
One of my questions is : can you adjust the tension on the thread cutter? Every time I push the button to cut the thread it cuts it so short that it pops back out of the thread!
I'm sure I'll have many more questions as time goes by but for the moment thats it! Thanks in advance!!

Hello, and welcome from Idaho!
I don't know about adjusting, but my thread cutter does the same thing and so I don't use it.

That's okay what does it say about me when I read it as out of the 'needle' even though you typed 'thread'? I had to go back and reread it.

Hi and welcome from Northern Arizona. I have a Babylock Quilters Dream. I am reading this thread at work but I'll check my manual when I get home and see what it says. When I use my thread cutter it leaves about an inch on my needle. I don't remember changing the tension for that, so I'll try to get back to you. In the meantime, if you go to Babylocks website you might be able to download the manual for your machine.

waving hello from Montana! Welcome aboard.

I couldn't find anything on the tension affecting the thread cutter but my manual does say that if you are using thread thicker than #30, nylon or metallic threads, not to use the thread cutter but to pull the fabric away and cut manually. Not much help, sorry.
