Very new to quilting, although always had an obsession for fabrics. I love all types and styles fo fabrics and have already built up an extremely large stash.. :shock:

I have just finished my second ever quilt, if I get time later on I will post a picture for you.

First up is my first ever quilt for my Niece Beatrice.
She will have it for her Birthday in August now its all finished.

Next up is my most recent work completed.

Anyone who was at the NFRS summer cup would have seen the top part I finished but this is the finished article for you all to laff at.. lol

We have a simple 9 patch block along with some embroidered awareness ribbon trees. Each one is a different colour and each one specifies a diferent awareness ribbon.

Pink - Breast Cancer
Blue - Autism
Grey - Asthma
Red - Heart Disease
Yellow - Troop & Military support
Blue & Yellow - Down syndrome

Each of these have been chosen specifically as each one is dedicated to a very special family member.
