I have been enjoying this site for several months, but have just now decided to register. Am participating in the BOM (flowers).

I am a 68 year old wife, mother of three, MIL of two, and grandmother of six. Retired from the State of Arkansas where I worked for 28 years and 7 months. I have been quilting passionately for about three years. Love attending quilt shows and quilt shops. Most of all, love the new friends I have made through quilting.

Hello, and welcome from Missouri! I used to live in NLR, and taught out in Marche! Often visit my sister who still lives in LR. This is a really fun place to be.

I was born in Paragould, Arkansas and lived there many years. For the past twenty-six years, I have lived in Mississippi.

This fall you should plan a trip to Hattiesburg to one of the best quilt shows in the South. It is a biennial show done by the Pine Belt Quilters. Let me know if you would like more information.

Nonnie2 01-29-2010 01:53 PM

Thanks, I will keep that in mind.
