Hello from the Atlanta area....

I'm the new kid on the block. I stumbled upon this forum while searching for information on how to assemble the bobbin winder on my Universal KNB. I do not do any quilting, but I do many other types of sewing. I sew historical costumes, medium and heavy leather and other heavy materials like canvas and upholstery fabrics. I have six different machines for different purposes. I am equipped to sew leather up to nearly an inch thick. I hope I can find the info I need on this forum.

I know nothing about sewing leather and other heavy materials, but I'm sure someone here will be of great help to you. Before all is said and done, you may become a quilter because of this site! Welcome from the beautiful mountains of western NC.

Welcome from Southern California. Haven't sewn thick leather since the 70s. Did some theatrical costuming also in the early 70s.

Waving hello from Maryland and happy new year! If you've got six machines and sew a lot, this is a good place to check if you need to answer to a question in a hurry. Happy sewing!!

Welcome from OHIO! I don't know anything about how to assemble a bobbin winder, but if you ask that question in the main forum or in the machine enthusiasts forum, I'm sure someone will be able to help you.
