I'm a new quilter (somewhat), and my sister-in-law introduced me to your site. I've been "eavesdropping" for a while and have gathered great information. Today, I decided to jump in feet first and sign up.

My quilting experience--
Spent many days playing under a quilting frame that hung from my grandmother's bedroom ceiling (makes a great fort) while she and her friends quilted. In the ninth grade, pieced my first quilt top and my grandmother taught me how to hand quilt. Together again, we quilted one more after my first born arrived. Thirty years later, I've rediscovered quilting...boy! things have changed.

I'm looking forward to meeting new friends!

Do you have a favorite Atlanta quilt shop?

I'm north of ATL and it's convenient for me to visit Tiny Stitches, Red Hen Fabrics, and Little Quilts in Marietta. I work in the Buckhead area so I enjoy my lunch breaks at Intown Quilters--love it--fun & funky.
