Hello from Australia
Hello. I am new to quilting. Just finished piecing and sandwiching my first quilt (55" x 45") which was a bit large for a first one but I like to jump into things. Pretty happy with it so far. If I stand right back, squint and hold my head to the left I can barely see the points that don't match, and if I get up close I can find a few that actually did. I can only get better from here.:D Plus my math skills are getting a workout converting inches and yards to metric and then back again.
I was wondering if anyone else on here from was from Australia too? And if they know where I can get some bicycle clips to hold my quilt when I put it in my home machine to quilt. I can get them overseas but the postage is a killer. Is eBay my best bet? Any particular type best? Thanks in advance. |

Hello from NE UK. Well done on your first quilt. I've seen speakers's quilts at our guild days that have lost some points, so you shouldn't give it a second thought.
