hello from BC CANADA

hi fellow quilters!

even though my username says i am already a quilter persay, i actually haven't done my first quilt yet:o
i am in the planning stages for it. i hope to learn alot from any expert or atleast experienced quilters.
most of my quilts will be hand done through and through as i am much better hand stitching, then i am on the sewing machine.

Welcome from sunny Nevada! But I grew up in Northern Michigan and spent a lot of time in Canada -- beautiful Country! And we always loved the Canadians! Wonderful people as a whole. You are so welcome here. What a patient person you must be to do everything by hand. Patience is a virtue, you know. Can't wait to see a photo of your first quilt! I know you're here to learn, but please, feel free to jump into any thread with a comment. We like a variety of opinions, and no one is ever too new to have an opinion!

:o Good day one and all. I am from Alberta, Canada. Have been using vintage machines all my life. They are the best. I have several now including a treadle and all work beautifully. Time spend cleaning and oiling and soaking sticking parts is totally worth it. It speaks back to you like you are giving it a loving massage and the result is a well tuned trust worthy machine.
