Hi Elle
Thanks for welcome. How is Sunny Spain? Glasgow is cold and miserable ! Regards Liz |
Hello and Welcome from the Philadelphia area. I was in Cove, Argyle not too long ago. Also Glasgow. it was in June'08 and we had 70 degree weather everyday. My DD and her DH celebrated their 25th wedding Anniversary by renting Craigrownie Castle. Fabulous time. About a dozen from the US and about 35 from Glasgow region. After a week they went on to Edinburgh and myself and family went to Ireland. All in All a great time as they rented a bus and driver to take us to Inveraray, Sterling, Menze's castles and to Oban. I say they did it up right and I am ready to come back. Inverarary is our Campbell relatives' home(200 years ago twas ours') Menze's was another member of our groups family. I am out of space. I would like to know another quilter in Scotland. K. Campbell/The Ramsays'
