Hi,
I´m Daniela from Bremen/Germany. I´m 29 years old and I quilte since I learned sew at school. At a few days I will start with a new job, in which I must speak much English, and there I imagined it would easier to learn English by doing things how makes fun. I hope also that I can learn much about quilting and sewing from you and perhaps it gives a few Swaps in which I can take a part. Many greetings Daniela |

Hello & welcome. I'm Sheila & live in Northeast Alabama, USA. Ask lots of questions and you will be learning so much before you know it. Ages here range from young to middle to - well a little beyond middle aged.
I believe Bremen is in Northern, Germany, up close to Holland. We went to a tulip festival there & it was so nice. We lived close to Landstuh, Germany back in 1970s. We worked at US Army Hospital there. Really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was so nice and polite to us. I hope to go back someday. I'll be watching for your post. |

Daniela: Welcome to our group. You will learn a great deal of English here. Several dialects. It may look like we all have a problem spelling (which we do), but much of it is code like the younger set uses on the cell phone.
If you have questions or need help, just ask. We have all been there. What is your new job? Gwyn in Utah |
First off all, thanks a lot for your warm welcome.
My new job is ship superintenden assistance on a worldwide shipping trade called beluga shipping. I must organize ship repairs and spareparts and surveys all over the world. I do it now since two weeks and every day I learn new vocab. Today I learned the meaning of " it doesn´t matter" ;) Please correct me if the grammar is wrong |
