Im new here. I have looked around a little and love this site so far. I am so excited to find you all.
I am pretty new to quilting im only on my 3rd quilt. This one is for my husband and I am trying the quilt as you go method. Any advice would be very welcome.
Anyway just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. :)

Welcome from Southern California! Which part of the state are you located?

Welcome from Central CA, close to Fresno, I have not done a quilt as you go and I hope you are not suffering with too much water right now. We have a pond in our back yard where we usually plant tomatoes.

Howdy from Texas. You will find so much help here on this board. Everyone is ready & willing to share their knowledge with you. I have never done a quilt as you go but it's on my list to learn. Jenny has a tutorial here that looks easy to follow:

Also, comeau posted a beautiful QAYG on the board recently. She used the same background fabric for the sashing & it turned out very lovely. She also posted a link for instructions that she used.
