My name is Laura Clang and I really enjoy this quilting board. I probably should spend more time in the sewing room but this is so interesting I check it several times a day. I am 77 years old and I have been sewing and quilting for over 50 years. I didn't retire until I was nearly 74 and it is a real treat to be able to sew and quilt as much as I want. I also make "Nebraska" stocking caps for the newborns at our local hospital and I have made 1500 so far. I enjoy my home, sewing, quilting, crocheting, and knitting and a bit of traveling when health permits. We raised 5 kids and now have 15 grandkids and 26 great grands.

Hello and welcome from NORTH Central Nebraska! You are putting me to shame with all that you are accomplishing. Good on you! There are less than a handful of towns in the center of the state that have a local hospital. I'm trying to guess which one you are from. Ha!
