Hello to all of you in the Quilting Board. I did not know this forum existed. (Wonderful) I belong to many different Yahoo Groups, but no forums/boards to speak.

My roots are from Michigan (Thumb area (Vassar/Frankenmuth)- Lower Pens) I work by day as a legal nurse, and try by evening to quilt/embroidery. Time to be involved in my passion is rather scant. I also truly enjoy photography and my home.

I care for my 87 y.o mother, have six furry children (Baybe, Bitzee, TeaZo, TeAira, BeiLeigh, and McKeinZie) -4 chihauhau, 1 Poodle, and 1 Golden Retriever who thinks she is a Chihauhau; and care for 2 acres of heaven. I have one grown daughter no grandchildren.. (not even from my furry children; but grand-furry children.)

Thank you for allowing me to be part of this group of creative individuals.

Susan :-)

Thank you -- my avatar was my business logo that I designed. "Spirit of the Winds Studio." I am very partial to it.

A Legal Nurse (LNCC through AALNC) is a nursing specialty. There are many facets to Legal Nursing which bring specialized healthcare education and clinical experience to the medically related issues of the litigation process. A LNCC is licensed, registered nurse who performs a critical analysis of clinical and administrative nursing practice, healthcare facts and issues and their outcomes for the legal profession, healthcare professions, consumers of healthcare and legal services, and others as appropriate. I have been a nurse fo 30 years with a background in Critical Care/Vascular Medicine with 16 years of legal.

It can be challenging. I work with 10 attorneys. I am getting ready for 5 trials between now and May 8th. I assist in the prosecution of physicians for the State of Texas

Sorry a bit off topic.

Susan
