Quiltingboard Forums - Hello from Central Texas

Wow, what a great board this is. I retired in January after working as a legal assistant for many years, and discovered this awesome forum right away. I love all the great pictures and ideas. About me -- I have two grown children and ten grandchildren. I've been quilting for over 20 years. As many of you have said, all of my other hobbies and crafts went away once I learned about quilting. I am in the process of cleaning up my sewing room and culling through my books and fabrics. The past couple of weeks I've been sorting fabrics and folding the keepers onto comic book boards. (Whoever thought up that idea is my hero, BTW.) I plan to post pictures once the mess has been cleared away. My spouse and I are going to Huntsville, Texas tomorrow and will be taking Nova Montgomery's Featherweight maintenance class (several of those have followed me home, too). I look forward to making new friends here.
