Hi everyone,

I'm not any good at introducing myself, so this will be short and sweet. I'm mom of two girls and grandmom of one girl. (:lol:The highlight of my life!) Plenty of step daughters and step grands as well.
I am addicted to machine embroidery and making the designs for the embroidery machines and more recently am getting into more quilting that I have been doing since I was a little girl when my Grandma taught me sewing starting at the age of 7. I am recently disabled  and finding more time to putz with this love. The only problem is that my life long stash collection that was stored in my front closet had to be all tossed out as a result of a house fire, it couldn't be saved. Then I became disabled and can't afford to buy all that fabric again, no matter what the insurance adjuster says. So, my quilt making is extremely slow to get back up and going again.
The best part of the two crafts is that I am bringing them together and making many blocks with embroidery on them. As I get some done, I will show you. It's such a wonderful passion!

I'm excited reading many of your posts already and anxious to meat all of you, but be patient with me, I suffer from short term memory loss. Thanx for the great forum here! Am enjoying it already!

Just me, Judi

I have short term memory loss also. I have had the problem for over 20 years. Eventually, you just learn to be wrong more than right. Better than the alternative, huh? Welcome home!
