Hello from Colorado
 

Hello everyone, I just posted in the main forum area about working on a quilt top that was left to me by my mother. This top was the second one she had done, she also made a quilt for her brother; mainly she did crochet and taught me that when I was 8 and I've enjoyed it ever since. But while I enjoy doing crochet, I really prefer to use quilts. Both of my grandmothers were quilters and I have one made by each of them, one made by my husband's grandmother as a wedding gift, plus several stacks of vintage handmade quilts from his mom's family. So quilting is kind of in the family and if I can manage finishing this one I may do more.:o
