I learned how to quilt by watching eHow and I purchased some quilting books. I've been quilting for the last 5 months. I really enjoy each step when I'm quilting, from planning and picking out the fabric, to the finish by hand stitching the back of the border. I've made a quilt and two pillows, and I am making two Christmas pillows at the present time. In January I'm going to be a first time grandmother :-). I can't wait to make a quilt for the crib when the baby is born. I'm glad that I have found this site to chat with quilters who have been doing this for awhile.
