Thank you for the warm welcome. My brother was in the U.S. Army and stationed in Germany (quite a few years ago) but when he came home, he wowed us with tales of how beautiful Germany was. Would love to see it some day. Happy quilting.

Hey Ohio: I grew up in Indiana. Miss the Indiana/Ohio area every summer when we're sizzling down here. Glad to find nice people to chat with about my favorite new subject. Learning a lot.

Hey California: That photo is gorgeous. If that was the scene outside the window of my sewing area, I think I would just sit and enjoy the majesty of it all. Right now we are having really cold temperatures, sky gray. However, I'm going to layer on the clothes and head for the library today and find a warm corner and a stack of quilting books and plug in my headphones and just enjoy myself.
