I have been quilting 16 years and I am self taught - I love scraps and make lots of miniatures with them. I do a lot of applique. I hand quilt all of my projects. Maybe one of these days I will be brave enough to tackle the machine.
I have two daughters one who lives in Alabama and is 22 and married. the other is 17 and will be a senior in HS this year. I work full time, garden, love to read and of course *sew* and gab with my sewing friends.
Am looking forward to getting to know all of you.

We have a Ruritan Club where our town council meetings are held, we have 65 houses in our town and the post office. Very quiet but unfortunately the city is moving in. Our property has hay on one side and soybeans growing on the other. We have a cow farm right down the road and almost all the roads here are lined with corn, pumpkins or soybeans.
