I just want to say hello and I am so excited about this site. There are so many wonderful and talented sewers and quilters here. I have been sewing and quilting since I was about 15 (I am about to tell my age!!! haha) and I am 49 now and I am still no where as good as you guys. It is my relaxing pass time thing to do. I only know how to tack my quilts but I want to learn how to hand quilt them eventually one day! My husband looked at a picture of quilting frames that I liked and made me a pair. I have made a few quilts to sell in the past few years. its hard to give them up but when the person that bought it comes back to you and tells you how warm and how beautiful it matches my room, it just makes me feel so good inside.

This is the last one I sold.

amma,jazs2,grammyp,amazon,Jim's Gem,
I want to thank you all for the warm welcome. I found a picture of this frame online somewhere and my husband, Forrest just drew it out. It is up high enough to not kill your back by leaning over. Thanks again and look forward to making alot of new friends here. Have a Blessed and wonderful day.

A big welcome from the great state of Texas!
Wow, your frame is really nice, inventive! The quilt is fabulous...
Get those toes of your on a small stool and elevated...you will be quilting much longer....and enjoying the circulation in your legs more too! Oh, I should have said that...but I am a big gal and know this from experience. The heart doc told me if we ladies even cross our legs at the ankles we cut our circulation down by 25%....Boy if she only knew I sometimes sit on my legs! lol
Welcome to the board....come join us on the Montly Bee Swap here...it is a lot of fun and you meet a lot of great people.
