Hi everyone! I am a mad sewer! I sew for a living and then I joke that I make quilts as a hobby!!

I am 41 and have one 10 year old daughter, my husband and daughter quilt too!

I always have one hand pieced over paper - hexagonal quilt on the go, they take me years, but I get there in the end! In between working on those - I also make machine pieced quilts (my avatar is my latest - for my daughter).

I recently discovered the joy of machine quilting, I have been doing free motion embroidery for years, but started working on quilts recently, when I needed one done for a deadline and knew I wouldn't get it hand quilted in time! I'm hooked!

We have a guild in Limerick which is brilliant, meeting only once a month is not enough for me though so I am looking forward to connecting with fellow obsessed sewers!!! We live in a remote location and there are no quilters around here!!
