Hi all,
I'm Chris from Central NY. I'm a wife, mother and grandmother of 6. I LOVE quilting, but not in the summer. I also love to ride my horse, drive my pony, ride my bike and work around the house and barn. I also collect vintage sewing machines. I hope to learn more about quilting and will share what knowledge I have. |

Hi Chris. Welcome from the same area of the state as you. I too do not enjoy quilting in the summer. I would so much rather be outside. Don't own a horse anymore but hope to someday get to ride one again soon. Somehow I seem to be slowly collecting old sewing machines-didn't plan on it, but it's happening. You will love it here. Tons of wonderful quilts to see, tips to learn and ideas.

Welcome from Australia! I miss being able to ride, I had to give it up because of a back injury 18 years ago. I have a collection of old Singer machines, started with one Featherweight that grew to 5 more(4 222K's and 2 221K's, 2 201K's and a 99K) I ran out of room for them, so have stopped buying more. Just missed out on a white FW, maybe if I can find another one?
I have found so much info and ideas here, you will love it! |
Yes WELCOME from Missouri. You'll want to join the featherweight discussion we all love our ol singers in there. This is a great board the best I have seen on the net.
There going to boot me out soon if I don't post pics, LOL Not really!!! Ranching has been busy, but hopefully tomorrow I'll get to the shop and take some pics. |
