Hello Kate-aporn
I've been to Thailand about 6 or 7 times. All the time we fly into Bangkok and then take a taxi to Pattaya. I love Thailand and have made many good friends there. Welcome to America. Your English is very good. I tried to learn Thai, but it was very hard for me. Again, welcome! |
Welcome to the boards. I love your avatar; very pretty.
Your English is very good. |

My English is not perfect but so far I haven't received any complaints. You will see how you always get encouragement from quilters in this board. Show us your Thai fabrics! |

I have friends that are returning from Thailand on Thursday. The Mom and her girls spent the summer at her parents farm in a small town. Can't wait to see them! The girls must have grown so much in those couple months. |

Welcome from New Jersey! English is a difficult language to learn because a lot of the "rules" have "exceptions". I learned English when I was five years old but was confused for years after that! I'm sure, with practice, you will do just fine!

Welcome from Pennsylvania
In 1975 and 1976 I spent 13 months in Thailand in a small town just west of Udorn Thani near Laos. I love the people. My friend and I would hire a taxi and travel the country side. I remember the bus trip to Bangkok, the bus was so colorful and loaded with people, even had a bus stewardess. I remember the rides in the back of pickup trucks to get into town, I believe they were called baht buses. Sometimes there would be 20 people in the back of a Toyota pickup, just amazing. Everything was so colorful, the country and people so beautiful. I actually purchased Thai silk and shipped it home for my then future wife. I would love to go back someday. Again Welcome |
