Can you send a picture? May be a piecing thing, or it may be a pressing thing..... but it's hard to tell without seeing it. Welcome to the group --- you will love it here!

thanks for the reply! The picture is on under pictures....my quilting projects....I think it is the pattern itself....I learned to quilt at a senior center using a paper template and pinning it to the material and then cutting it....then you stitch together using 1/4 inch seam.....no matter how accurate I make my seams there is a problem and you have to take up the top slack to get it to lie flat before sewing it to a big square piece of material and adding batting....then you stitch around the points....cut and turn inside out....there must be another way....I am searching for a big table topper dresden plate pattern.....maybe someone or you can help. It would be so appreciated....
